Hello! I am Shaun Pickup and on behalf of my equally enthusiastic and knowledgeable colleagues I am delighted to welcome you to this fascinating spot that is The Garden Place.

Open between Monday and Saturday 9.00am to 5.30pm and between 10.00 am and 4.00pm on Sunday, one of the many highlights here is that both Dahlia’s Kitchen and our cheerful coffee shop are also open during these hours.  Just the place to meet for tea, coffee or a superb lunch. Food for thought! 


The prime role of The Garden Place though is, of course, our enviable stock and variety which draws people from miles around.  Self contained water features, a stylish range of contemporary and traditional garden furniture, trees, plants, shrubs, planters and pots are here in unmatched abundance as are “shed loads” of sheds, summer houses, playhouses, cabins, workshops and garages and we are, of course, eager to assist , whatever  your  interest may be!

Complementing our principle objective is the inspiring gift shop. During the school holidays our Gardener’s Apprentice children’s club encourages their first seed of interest to grow and our Lady’s Gardener’s Club combines a meal or snack with a hugely enjoyable practical, tutored learning session.

Group visits are encouraged, ever increasing in popularity,with no parking problems for coaches and prior booking with Dahlia’s Kitchen; a glorious outing is enjoyed by all.

Leading up to Christmas The Garden Place becomes even more of an Aladdin’s Cave with wonderful displays of decorations, dressed trees, twinkling lights, cards and gifts. Truly a glittering array and a highlight for many.

To experience The Garden Place to its full advantage you really have to visit us any day of the week and, only a couple of minutes from the M55 motorway, we are accessible to all! A warm welcome awaits.
